Nepal Reports Highest single day COVID-19 Cases|8605 cases with 58 deaths

Nepal reports the highest number of cases on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. This is the highest number of COVID-19 Cases reported ever since the pandemic began in a single day and also highest number of deaths due to COVID-19 Reported in a single day .

According to Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal 8605 people tested positive in 20,756 PCR tests done in last 24 hours.

Kathmandu valley records 3,825 new cases in past 24 hours.

Province wise distribution of cases in Last 24 hours

Province1 :658 cases

Province 2 : 1498

Bagmati Province: 4519

Gandaki Province: 493

Lumbini; 1830

Sudurpaschim: 405

Karnali : 202

Total death toll due to COVID-19 in Nepal has reached to 3475 and Total infected toll reaches 359610.
